Marking the end of an era of the last of the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger in its current HEMI engine powered form, as Dodge makes a move towards electrified muscle.
Which 2023 Dodge Special-Edition Models Have Been Announced?
Dodge has already released six Dodge 2023 “Last Call” commemorative editions, and intends on releasing the seventh and final Dodge added to the list of “last of its kind Dodge special-edition” models.The Dodge 2023 “Last Call” Special-Edition models announced include:

- Dodge Charger Super Bee
- Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger
- Dodge Charger Scat Pack Swinger
- Dodge Charger King Daytona
- Dodge Challenger Black Ghost.
2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost
Number six of seven on the Dodge 2023 “Last Call” Special Edition list of models to carry a commemorative “Last Call” under-hood plague, marking the end of its current HEMI engine-powered form. A menacing modern day display of the original Black Ghost, which was a black 1970 Dodge Challenger RT SE (special edition) owned by Godfrey Qualls, that ruled Woodward Avenue in the 1970s. This 1970’s Challenger earned the name “Black Ghost” because it had a reputation for flexing its 426-horsepower HEMI-powered muscle on Woodward and then driving off mysteriously into the night, not to be seen again for months.
Offering a menacing and mysterious look, the 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost Special Edition features a black and chrome appearance with a unique black “gator skin” roof vinyl roof graphic – mimicking the original 1970 Black Ghost. Under the hood of this stealth and sporty muscle car, the 2023 Black Ghost bumps the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody’s HEMI 6.2L V8 engine to a massive 807-horsepower!

Only 300 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost Special Edition Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody’s in Pitch Black will be produced.
“There are so many legendary muscle cars in Dodge brand history, it was hard to choose the seven vehicles we wanted to pay homage to with our Last Call lineup, but the Black Ghost was an easy pick,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis. “The 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost is the prelude to what we’re going to unveil with our seventh and final special-edition model.”
