1963 was the first model year of the Jeep Wagoneer and 1984 was the first for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. These 2 iconic SUVs were beloved in the Poughkeepsie NY area because of their capability, feature lineup and distinct design.

Next year, we will see them return to the road! And what better way to show the world a taste of things to come than through a concept vehicle? That’s where the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept comes in!

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept is a combination of these models’ heritage with the future of our brand. That’s evident through the use of features such as:

• Quiet plug-in hybrid electric vehicle powertrain system
• Teak wood accents for the twin bi-functional LED projector headlamps & tie-down loop openings of the full-pane glass roof
• 3D inlay heat-treated lacewood on the instrument panel
• 2-spoke steering wheel
• Large glass windows

When you take a look at the interior of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept, the first things you’ll take note of are the 3 rows of seating (a first for this nameplate) and the numerous screens inside. In fact, there are nearly 45” of screens that are comprised of:

• 12.1″ horizontal center console display & a 10.25″ horizontal comfort touchscreen right underneath for infotainment
• 10.25″ touchscreen on the front passenger side
• 10.1″ comfort display between the captain’s chair in the 2nd row
• 2 10.1″ touchscreens in the 2nd row
• 12.3″ driver information display behind the wheel showing vital vehicle info

Music lovers will rejoice over this concept vehicle’s McIntosh premium sound system that is reminiscent of one the company would make for homes. That’s because there are a total of 23 speakers custom designed with aluminum & gloss black materials connected to a 24-channel amplifier.

There are also several sustainable materials used throughout the SUV. From a Dinamica full suede headliner and thrive fiber carpets to an instrument panel with an Onyx glass mid-bolster, structural aluminum wing & the PUR synthetic material that’s also used on other aspects of the vehicle, this model is more environmentally friendly than ever.

We hope the outside of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Concept is brought over into the production models coming to our dealership serving Rhinebeck NY. That’s part in due because of the distinct Obsidian Black color used throughout in accents including:

• 7-slot grille with the word Wagoneer illuminated & spelled out right above it
• 24″ multi-spoke aluminum wheels with 3-piece caps featuring an acrylic-suspended Wagoneer logo
• Aluminum front skid plate
• Front tow hooks

They’re a great contrast to the unique Arctic Ice paint color. It makes other elements stand out like the 3D-printed elements located below the iconic trapezoidal wheel arches and the raised aluminum letters with copper-side accents spelling out Grand Wagoneer located on the lower third of the front doors.
